MAKING THE RESTAURANT the process for the Chefs Group
CHEFS GROUP
The Chefs Group (total 8 people) is made from 3 smaller groups: The French Group (2 people), The Spanish Group (2 people), and The Cooks (2 people). They are generally responsible for researching food and cooking. After you decide the groups you can look at your section for the list of tasks.
French Group (2 people)
1. Research French ingredients and materials. Write down the ingredients you want to use and the materials you need. Use links below.

Talk to the school cooking staff to find out if they have the ingredients and the materials. If they don't, then make sure the staff can buy them. If they cannot, then change it.
Give your list of ingredients and materials to the school cooking staff. You will observe how they find ways to change from a $2000 limit to a $250 limit. Make sure to make the changes to the ingredients and materials list and give the final list to the Staff Group. After observing the school cooking staff, copy and paste the worksheet below to a word document (or download it from the bottom of the page). Then, fill it out.

1. Use the finalized ingredients and procedures that you chose and the survey from the Promoters Group to create 2 new recipes. The recipe should follow proper recipe format and include an ingredients list, materials list and process list. Please use Microsoft Word to create this. When you are finished print the recipes out and give them to the Cooks.
Mixed Group 2 (The other member of the Spanish Group and the other member of the French Group)
1. Use the finalized ingredients and procedures that you chose and the survey from the Promoters Group to create 2 new recipes. The recipe should follow proper recipe format and include an ingredients list, materials list and process list. Please use Microsoft Word to create this.When you are finished print the recipes out and give them to the Cooks.
