MAKING THE RESTAURANT the process for the Promoter Group
PROMOTERS GROUP
The Promoters Group (total 4 people) is made from the 2 smaller groups: The Developers (2 people), and The Designers (2 people). They are generally responsible finding out what the customers want and helping them feel comfortable. After you decide the groups you can look at your section for the list of tasks.
Developers (2 people)
1. Create a questionnaire that asks what the customers want to eat and how they want to be served. This should include allergies, health concerns, wheel chair access, expectations, etc. To be successful you should ask between 3 and 6 questions. Here are some articles about things you can consider.

You can type the survey/questionnaire into Microsoft Word. Please make sure the following is at the top of the page. Use the below format to ask your questions (can be downloaded at the bottom of the page). For the email, please use an agreed-upon member of the Designer Group.

Go to the Tech Office and ask for help to email the survey to all the parents in our department who will attend parent night.

If she doesn't say anything that isn't on your survey, then tell her you need to make at least three changes or additions. After observing, copy and paste the worksheet below to a word document (or download it from the bottom of the page). Then, fill it out.

3. Create a second questionnaire that the customers fill out at the restaurant after they eat. Make sure to give a copy to all the other groups in advance so they know how they will be graded. The questionnaire should include information about food (how well the customer understood what was being served, the flavor, differences between dish and menu, authenticity, presentation), atmosphere (noise level, music, attractiveness, lighting, comfortable seating, big enough table, clean looking), service (waiter was knowledgeable, staff was nice, little wait time, waiter always checked how we were doing) etc. Use the below links as examples.

1. Talk to the Chefs to find out what they will cook and write it down in detail. Then, use the information to create a menu. You can include relevant pictures (gotten online), photographs (of the actual product taken with a smart phone), the name and description of each dish in easy to read and professional format, the name and description of the restaurant, etc. Make sure to say that the prices listed are fictional and that the food is free. When you are finished, give 25 copies of your product to the Staff Group.
2. You will receive all of the questionnaires that were written by the Developers and emailed to you by the parents. Use a blank copy of the original questionnaire to write down all of the customers issues under the same question. Give this to the Staff Group and Chefs Group. Below is an example of a questionnaire filled out like you need to.

4. Afterward, copy the post-dinner surveys and distribute and share them with the Chefs and Staff group.
